Functions and Features

Main Components

Rotary Head Assembly: The rotary head assembly adopts a hydraulic rotary motor with dual planetary gear reduction. The maximum output torque reaches 2650 N·m, with a rotary speed ranging from 0 to 80 r/min. The rotary system is designed with impact cushioning capability, effectively reducing drilling reaction forces transmitted to the motor, minimizing component wear. The internal structure is simple for easy maintenance. In addition, the rotary motor is equipped with a YX sealing ring, improving durability and service life.
Operating System: The operating system is arranged at the rear of the rig, allowing the operator to easily monitor operations and centrally control the machine and hydraulic system. The pneumatic control system is safe and convenient, enabling one-handed operation during traveling.

Diesel Engine: The drill is equipped with a Yuchai diesel engine featuring stable performance and strong output power. The engine intake system is fitted with a safe and reliable air filtration device, ensuring clean air intake and reliable engine operation.
Mast Assembly / Drill Guide Assembly: The drill guide adopts a heavy-duty structure with manganese steel rail trims and a multi-roller design. This configuration enables the guide to withstand high torque and resist deformation, significantly extending the service life of the guide and sliding components while ensuring accurate drilling angles.

The JC860 is a versatile hydraulic down-the-hole drilling rig designed for mining, quarrying, blasting, and civil engineering projects. With drilling depths up to 40 meters and hole diameters from φ90 to 152 mm, it replaces traditional pneumatic drills by using hydraulics for all drilling, feeding, rotation, and traveling operations, while compressed air is only used for impact and hole cleaning. Powered by a reliable Yuchai diesel engine, the rig delivers stable power and efficient performance with reduced air consumption and operating costs. The hydraulic rotary head provides up to 2650 N·m torque and 0–80 rpm rotary speed, equipped with impact cushioning to minimize component wear. A heavy-duty mast and drill guide ensure precise drilling angles, while the lubricator system prolongs the service life of key components. Mounted on a rugged crawler chassis with imported hydraulic motors, the JC860 achieves excellent mobility and stability on rough terrain, with up to 35° gradeability even when towing an air compressor. The rear-mounted operating system allows centralized, intuitive control of all hydraulic and pneumatic functions, ensuring safe and efficient operation in demanding worksites.
