The JC900 is a hydraulic down-the-hole drilling rig designed for rock hardness F6–20, drilling 90–178mm holes up to 60m deep. Powered by a 70kW Yuchai engine (Cummins optional), it delivers 5600Nm torque and features a high-efficiency rotary system for stable, low-maintenance operation. With a multi-angle drill arm and durable crawler undercarriage, it ensures flexible, reliable performance in demanding conditions.

Functions and Features

Main Components

The rig is powered by a Yuchai 70 kW turbocharged engine (Cummins 74 kW optional), delivering strong output and easy maintenance. A two-stage air filtration system guarantees clean air intake, ensuring safe and reliable engine operation. The integrated oil-water radiator maintains stable performance of both the engine and hydraulic system in high-temperature environments.
The multi-angle drill arm with extended functions provides a wider drilling range. It supports horizontal drilling, front and rear inclined holes, as well as lateral angled holes, achieving a drilling coverage approximately 20% greater than that of similar drilling rigs.

Imported rotary seals provide excellent sealing performance and long service life. The polymer liner features high wear resistance, requires no lubrication, and offers greater operational convenience. The manganese steel guide rail ensures a rigid frame structure with strong wear resistance.
The original imported travel motor offers strong climbing capability and supports towing of an air compressor. The two-speed travel system enables faster movement, reducing shifting time. Maintenance-free support rollers eliminate the need for oil filling. Track guards are installed to prevent track derailment. The rig can also be equipped with an unpowered unlocking travel motor.

The JC900 hydraulic down-the-hole drilling rig is an upgraded model featuring a fully optimized structure and a more user-friendly design. Powered by a diesel engine or optional electric motor driving a hydraulic pump set, all drilling, feeding, lifting, traveling, and positioning functions are hydraulically operated for smooth and efficient performance. The rig is equipped with a high-torque rotary system and a newly designed planetary gearbox with a compact structure, larger reduction ratio, and higher transmission efficiency, ensuring stable operation with reduced failure rates and lower maintenance costs. Its design minimizes jamming in unconsolidated formations and delivers a high hole formation rate. Durable imported rotary seals, wear-resistant polymer liners requiring no lubrication, and manganese steel guide rails ensure long service life and reliable performance in demanding working conditions.
