JC980 Hydraulic DTH Rig for Deep Drilling

The JC980 is a high-performance hydraulic down-the-hole (DTH) drilling rig engineered for medium to large diameter and deep-hole applications. Supporting hole diameters from 105 to 305 mm and drilling depths of 50–200 m, it is ideal for mining, quarrying, civil engineering, hydropower construction, goaf management, and photovoltaic projects.
Powered by a Yuchai 70 kW turbocharged diesel engine (optional Cummins 74 kW) or an electric motor, all drilling, feeding, lifting, traveling, and positioning operations are fully hydraulically controlled. The dual hydraulic motor rotary head with two-stage planetary gear reduction delivers up to 5600 N·m torque at 0–85 rpm, providing powerful penetration while minimizing component wear. Impact cushioning integrated into the system further reduces drilling reaction forces, ensuring durability and smooth operation.
The rig features imported rotary seals for reliable sealing and long service life, a wear-resistant polymer liner that requires no lubrication, and manganese steel guide rails for structural rigidity. The PEMCO hydraulic oil pump provides high pressure resistance and large displacement for consistent performance. Additional features include a two-stage air filtration system, integrated oil-water radiator, and optional unpowered unlocking travel motor. A two-speed travel system with imported hydraulic motors and maintenance-free support rollers ensures excellent mobility, climbing ability, and site adaptability. Track guards prevent derailment, and the rig can tow an air compressor on steep or uneven terrain.
